Spun into Gold pt 2
The Scars
The conference center was buzzing with reporters, bloggers and media professionals. Banks and I hardly stepped out of his luxury car before a swarm of news hungry reporters headed right for us.
“How does it feel to be such an exemplary icon In society Mr. Drey?” One reporter asked, “What would you tell your fans to look forward to today? You said you will be informing us of a new shift that your foundation would be making. Can we get some insight before the start of the conference?” Another reporter asked getting his Microphone as close as possible to Banks face. Fortunately, the bodyguards Banks employed dived Into action and started making way for us to pass into the hall. In no time, we and the other participants were seated comfortably and the moderator went right on to start the conference. Seconds turned to minutes and I could not tell if it was just me or if everyone was eager to get all the formalities such as introduction of persons present out of the way. I looked at Banks from the corner of my eyes, and I could tell that he was nervous although he looked calm and comported.
While I was still deep in concern and anxiety over how Banks was probably feeling, suddenly the moderators voice jolted me back to the present.
“Todays conference is centered on discussing the prevalent pain of child abandonment in the society and the medical condition of sickle cell anemia. Now, we know that Drey Banks foundation which was founded by Mr. Bankole Christopher Drey has the mission of spreading happiness and wholeness across the world through Christ and love. However, recently Mr. Drey has decided to focus a little bit more on helping abandoned children and less privileged individuals who have the sickle cell disease. Before we go on to the question and answer session, let's hear from the representatives of the foundation, the medical specialist and from Mr. Bankole himself”
With the moderator finally seated, Dr. Isaac Coker the medical specialist on our team went right on to throw some light on the sickle cell disease issue at hand. Damn, you should hear that man speak. A medical doctor with an air of confidence, and the inborn talent of an orator.
Between getting caught up in the way the press drank information from his hands, and his composure, I managed to understand a few things. Things which of course were very real to me due to Banks medical condition.
In his words
“Sickle cell disease is a blood disorder triggered by a person inheriting two abnormal hemoglobin. The abnormal hemoglobin S can lead to badly shaped red blood cells that will obstruct the normal flow of blood thereby causing vaso-occlusion and reduced oxygen delivery to tissues. This can result in tissue damage and tissue death. More so, complications from vaso-occlusion can cause death. Now, as a foundation, we have decided to provide quality medical assistance for sickle cell patients who lack the resources to treat themselves. Our founder and sponsors have come together to donate a the sum of three hundred thousand dollars towards ensuring that we make as many individuals as we can with sickle cell anemia live life as healthily as possible” Almost immediately, cheers and clapping filled the room. The knowledge that people out there would be given a fighting chance to survive and create their success stories through the foundation warmed my heart and literally every face in that hall beamed with smiles.
When the cheer has subsided I watched with rapt attention as Dr. Coker came to an exquisite conclusion of his submission. The passion with which he spoke was glorious.
Now, as soon as our medical specialist was done. The therapist on the group Dr. Kayla George who is a friendly and high spirited woman in her late forties went right on to speak on the impact that child abandonment can have on a person. While her voice rang through the room, I reached beneath the table and took Banks hand in mine giving them a tight squeeze.
Child abandonment always hits differently. I've seen Banks try to be the best version of himself, but I've also seen him embrace isolation, sometimes use alcohol as a means of escape and other times find it difficult to trust people. It's one thing to be sickly and quite another thing to know that a parent or both parents refused to have a part in your life. In Banks case, it was his father who turned his back on him. Apparently, he is the unwanted child of a South African business tycoon. His mother was nothing but a maid in the service of his father when she got pregnant. Being born into a devout Christian home, abortion was not an option for her. Banks firsthand witnessed the frustration that his mother experienced due to working multiple jobs to afford the basic necessities and attend to his health. He continually wondered who his father is, and when she finally opened up and told him who he is, Banks reached out repeatedly only to be rejected at every attempt.
After making her points the therapist expressed how her team would be offering free therapeutic services for the next half of the year for children dealing with abandonment issues, adults dealing with the psychological after effects of child abandonment, and how the foundation would sponsor the outreach.
Finally, it was Banks turn to say a few words, He reached for the nearest microphone and flashed that contagious million dollar smile.
“I am a man of very few words, and I am a man who has been dealt some mean blows by life. Now, people say that life isn't a bed of roses. I say that if life decides to be a bed of roses right this moment, those roses will likely have thorns protruding from their stem and we will have to lie down anyways” in essence, life won't be fair most of the time. What makes any man or woman great, is their ability to see a message in their mess, to find strength in their weakness and to rise above the storms of life.
Chrey technologies and Drey Banks foundation wasn’t handed to me by some stroke of luck. I was the sickly child of a woman who was a maid, a cleaner, a receptionist and anything she needed to be just to support herself and I. I never experienced the love of a father. Although, I hear that the man behind my conception had or has a great deal of wealth. I really don't know what's really up with him. In my journey through life, I experienced pain, I questioned the reason for my existence and I got tired repeatedly.
Then, somewhere along the line, I found God. I found my beautiful wife seated right here, and I found a reason to fight. No guts, no glory right?. Today, I'm here and I'm excited to help as many people as I can to create their success stories. So, this conference right here is a shadow of great things to come”
While he spoke, I felt a wave of admiration rush through me. God, this is a man that deserves every good thing in life. It didn't take more than ten minutes for banks to finish speaking and I felt it just like everyone else in that room; the conviction that nothing is impossible for anyone who has the guts to chase after the glory.
Right after Banks finished speaking, the media representatives flooded the team with their questions and each question was met with a satisfactory answer. The day was going better than I expected. Pretty soon the conference ended and I knew that since this went smoothly, the meeting with the foreign investors would be a walk in the park.

It was 8:00p.m. and the activities of the day had been completed without a hitch. Banks and I sat in the car silently with only the sound of the radio interrupting the silence. Boy, was I bored? I shifted in my seat uncomfortably and looked at the chauffeur, after which I shifted my gaze to Banks. Man, he looked good. Besides the fact that he was a bit stressed, the look of him with his sleeves rolled up, his tie undone and him just tapping the keys on his laptop made me feel like distracting him from whatever it is that had his attention on that god-damned system. A naughty thought dropped in my head. One which, I so very well knew I was not going to sit out. Turning again to Andrew, our chauffeur I broke the silence.
“Andrew, why don't you just stop the car here, order an Uber and go be with your family”
“Ma?!” Andrew responded. His word laced with shock and confusion. He turned to Banks, who then slowly lifted his gaze from his system.
“okay, what's happening?” Banks asked as he turned to look at the confused young man and then turned his face to me.
“I'm taking over the driving” I replied. My tone signaling that I won't be backing down.
“Go on, stop the car” I said again.
When the car came to a halt, I quickly searched my purse and gave him some money to pay his way home.
Finally, alone with hubby. I hopped from the back to the drivers seat.
“care to join me in front Mr. Drey? And please lose the system”. I added with a smirk.
Without hesitation, but still with a confused look he got down from the back and got to the front with me.
With everything set, I locked the car doors, and sped off. In no time, I diverted into a street which I very well knew was hardly busy and thankfully our car glasses are tinted on the outside to shut out prying eyes. Then, the car came to a halt.
“Uhh, I know this is off the route to our home tigress, and I see where your head is at” he said with a chuckle. Oh, he knew because I was hundred percent radiating my slutty look.
With no words, but with a smile playing on my lips, I crossed over to the passengers side and knelt down right between the legs of this gorgeous man. His cologne wafted into my nostrils, and boy was I eager to get every inch of that bad boy into my mouth. My hands ran down the already bulging erection. I unzipped him, let that bad boy out and started giving a blow job like a hooker who aimed to please. He was so warm, and hard..
“My God”, he said in a moan. His hands holding my hair in place as he happily thrust repeatedly into my mouth.
Finally, I was dripping wet, Dude!, I had to have him. Slowly, making my way up, I comfortably balanced myself on top of him. Thankfully, I was wearing a flowy dress which spread out like a tent to allow ease of access. Gently shifting my panties to a side. I settled on him cow girl style.
I gently worked my magic on that dick. Shivers ran through my entire body, and the moans, and thrust from him drove me mad. In a few minutes, we reached a happy ending. Our racing hearts making attempts to achieve a regular beat and his dick slowly losing its erection.
“Damn girl!, I love you” he said as he planted kisses all over my exposed skin on my upper body.
“Damn boy!, I love you too. I replied in a mimicking but sincere tone.
With that done, I made my way over to the drivers side, started the car, and got us on our way home. As I drove, I couldn't help but notice the beauty displayed within the city. Everything seemed to come alive. The street lights were amazing and the display of people rushing to their distinct destinations just perfectly painted the picture of a city that never sleeps. I was exhausted and I really was craving a good meal, ice cream for dessert, a good soak in the bath tub with scented candles on and soft music playing in the background.
While my mind continued juggling thoughts, I arrived at my second happy place, home. The sight of the beautiful structure warmed me up. The flowers swayed in the wind gloriously, and the lawn was perfectly mowed. Banks alighted from the car and flung his jacket over his shoulders. As his custom is, he walked over to where I sat and opened the door for me to step out. Just as if mother nature was in the mood to welcome me, a mild rush of wind blew my way making me to smile and hold my flare gown in place to keep it from getting raised. With my right hand holding my gown, I tucked my left hand into his arm and we both walked down the path that led to the entrance door.
To be continued.
